Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: March 26, 2026

1. Purpose and Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the Regent website, digital playbooks, assistant subscription, and all related features and services (collectively, the "Service"). This AUP is incorporated by reference into the Regent Terms of Service, and capitalized terms used herein without definition have the meanings given in the Terms of Service. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violation of this AUP may result in suspension or termination of your access to the Service and may expose you to civil or criminal liability.

2. Prohibited Uses: General

You may not use the Service for any purpose that is unlawful under any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation. You may not use the Service to engage in, facilitate, or promote any of the following: fraud, deception, or misrepresentation; money laundering, sanctions evasion, or financing of terrorism; unauthorized access to or interference with any computer system, network, or data; distribution of malware, ransomware, spyware, adware, or any other malicious or unauthorized code; phishing, spoofing, identity theft, or any scheme to defraud third parties; infringement of any third-party intellectual property rights, including unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or modification of copyrighted works, trademarks, or patented inventions; violation of any person's right to privacy, including unauthorized collection, disclosure, or surveillance of personally identifiable information; or any activity that the Company, in its reasonable judgment, determines to be harmful, offensive, or contrary to the spirit of this AUP.

3. Prohibited Uses: Harmful and Offensive Content

You may not use the Service to generate, transmit, store, publish, or facilitate the distribution of any content that: constitutes child sexual abuse material ("CSAM") or any sexually explicit content involving minors, which is strictly prohibited and will be reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement authorities; constitutes a credible threat of violence against any specific individual or group; constitutes targeted harassment, cyberbullying, or coordinated abuse of any individual; incites hatred or violence against any person or group based on race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or other protected characteristics; constitutes defamation or false statements of fact about any identifiable person; or violates any individual's privacy through non-consensual intimate imagery or other unlawful disclosure of private information.

4. Prohibited Uses: The AI Assistant

Because the Regent assistant is powered by artificial intelligence, additional restrictions apply to your use of that feature. You may not attempt to circumvent, override, or manipulate the operating guidelines or safety measures of the underlying AI models used by the Service, through any technique, including so-called "jailbreaking," prompt injection, role-playing scenarios, or adversarial prompts. You may not use the assistant to generate content intended to deceive other people into believing that AI-generated text or other outputs are the genuine communications of a human being, unless clearly disclosed as AI-assisted. You may not use the assistant to systematically generate misinformation, propaganda, or content designed to manipulate public opinion through inauthentic means. You may not use the assistant to generate malware, ransomware, exploit code, or detailed technical instructions for conducting cyberattacks or unauthorized system access. You may not use the assistant to generate content designed to facilitate real-world violence, procurement of illegal weapons or controlled substances, or other illegal activities.

5. Prohibited Uses: System Integrity and Misuse

You may not: probe, scan, penetration-test, or attempt to identify security vulnerabilities of the Service or any underlying infrastructure without the Company's prior written authorization; use automated tools (including bots, crawlers, scrapers, or API clients not expressly authorized by the Company) to access, extract, or harvest data from the Service; use the Service in a manner that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionate load on the Company's infrastructure; circumvent any access controls, authentication mechanisms, rate limits, or billing systems; share your Account credentials with any third party, or allow any other person to access the Service using your Account; create multiple Accounts to circumvent usage restrictions, avoid suspension, or obtain more than the credits or access to which you are legitimately entitled; or use the Service for the purpose of competitive intelligence gathering, benchmarking, or developing a competing product or service, without the Company's prior written consent.

6. Compliance with Export Controls and Applicable Law

You may not use the Service in a manner that violates United States export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations and the sanctions programs administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control ("OFAC"), or the export laws of any other applicable jurisdiction. You represent that you are not located in, organized under the laws of, or ordinarily resident in any country or territory subject to a comprehensive U.S. embargo, and that you are not identified on any applicable U.S. government restricted-party list. You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction in connection with your use of the Service.

7. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any content or activity on the Service that you believe violates this AUP, applicable law, or the Company's Terms of Service, please report it to us at cole@useregent.com with a description of the issue and, where applicable, any supporting information. The Company will investigate all credible reports and take appropriate action, which may include removal of content, suspension of Accounts, and referral to law enforcement. Submitting a report does not guarantee that the Company will take any particular action.

8. Enforcement and Consequences

The Company reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to investigate any suspected violation of this AUP and to take any action it deems appropriate, including issuing a warning, temporarily or permanently suspending or terminating your Account, removing content, and referring the matter to law enforcement. The Company may, but is not obligated to, investigate suspected violations before taking action. Account suspension or termination for AUP violations does not entitle you to a refund of any fees paid. In addition to any remedies available to the Company under the Terms of Service, the Company reserves all rights to seek injunctive relief, damages, and other legal remedies available at law or in equity for violations of this AUP.

9. Changes to This Policy

The Company may update this AUP from time to time. Updates will be posted at this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated in accordance with the notice procedures described in the Terms of Service. Continued use of the Service after an updated AUP takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
